Da war die Glaubwürdigkeit dahin, als Hans Eichel auf einmal mit Berlusconi mauschelte und ausgerechnet ihn um das anbettelte, was Deutschland zuvor Italien immer verwehrt hatte. Gleichzeitig wollte Eichel, dass Nachbarschaftshilfe wie Rasenmähen als Schwarzarbeit geächtet wurde und in Zukunft nicht mehr kostenlos geleistet würde, damit sie versteuert werden könne; ganz Südeuropa verspottete uns damals und hat es noch in Erinnerung.

Vollkommen richtig, I could not agree more. Dass Schlimmste am Stand der Dinge ist, dass man sehenden Auges tatenlos darauf wartete, wie das unübersehbar Vorhersehbare zustandekam, wobei man nicht einmal den Eindruck hatte, dass diejenigen, die nicht eingriffen, wenigstens ein Interesse mit ihrer Untätigkeit verfolgten, sondern einzig und allein Trägheit, Einfalt und Lähmung die Felle davonschwimmen ließen.
