Ende Juni meldete die Welt, die Rolling Stones wollten Donald Trump verbieten, eines ihrer Lieder für seinen Wahlkampf zu verwenden.
Der Gesinnungsterror der globalen Zivilgesellschaft trifft auch die reichen Künstler, wie man an Frau Rowling studieren konnte, wobei ich nicht beurteilen kann, inwieweit sich Mick & Keith nur der Imagepolitur unterwarfen – die Toleranten hätten sie ja mit Scheiße überkübelt und Tausende ihrer Platten öffentlich verbrannt oder geschreddert – oder aus ehrlicher Ablehnung handelten. 

Trump wollte übrigens den Titel „You can’t always get, what you want” spielen lassen. Weit besser hätte „Salt of the earth” gepasst, geradezu d a s Lied auf die „Somewheres” (wenn wir mal von den heutigen „Stay-at-home-voters” absehen), also der Hauptklientel Trumps, die unter Biden und Harris wohl zunehmend in die Obdachlosenstatistik eingehen wird, the rag-tag, the white trash.
